5. CENTENARY HALL ABEOKUTA

Centenary Hall, built in 1930, stands as a amazing tribute to the Egba people's 100-year peaceful settlement in Abeokuta after moving from the Egba Woodland in 1830. Found opposite the Ake Palace, it was once the foremost prestigious town lobby within the whole ancient Western Region of Nigeria, serving as a center for socialization, town gatherings, and social occasions. Its structural plan was created by Mr. H.A. Watchman and Mr. Robert Charles Kotey, a designer from Accra, Ghana, making it not just a authentic point of interest but too an architectural jewel.
